The Positions
Emperor:
Rules Constantinople, has the leadership of the Imperial army in offensive campaigns, and the armies of his fief.
Podesta:
Rules Adrianople, leads the armies of his fief and his vassals (barons, feudarchs) in his fief. He influences the Merchants of the Empire and has a strong voice in the Empire Councils. If trade agreements are signed with other factions, he gets bonuses.
King of Thessalonike:
Rules Thessalonike, leads the armies of his fief and his vassals (Prince of Achaea, barons, feudarchs) in battle happening in his fief. Has much income and a considerable voice in the Councils.
Principality of Achaea:
Rules Corinth, leads the armies of his fief and his vassals (barons, feudarchs) in battle happening in his fief. He has considerable income and voice in the Councils.
Duke of Athens:
When one lord of the Empire (Emperor, King of Thessalonike or Prince of Achaea) decides he wills to give a baron of his the status of Duke of Athens, he will go personally in the area, see where exactly the capital of the Duchy will be and build a castle there. The Duke will be a vassal of the creator of his Duchy.
Duke of Neopatria:
When one lord of the Empire (Emperor, King of Thessalonike or Prince of Achaea) decides he wills to give a baron of his the status of Duke of Neopatria, he will go personally in the area, see where exactly the capital of the Duchy will be and build a castle there. The Duke will be a vassal of the creator of his Duchy.
Lord of Negreponte:
When one lord of the Empire (Emperor, King of Thessalonike or Prince of Achaea) decides he wills to give a baron of his the status of Lord of Negreponte, he will go personally in the area, see where exactly the capital of the Lordship will be and build a castle there. The Lord will be a vassal of the creator of his Lordship.
