Look! Is there any online players?!

Hi,

In about 30 minutes im going to go buy this game the gold edition. I was wondering if this game has alot of online players cause I dont want to buy a game with a ghost town multiplayer

Not so many to be honest but you should be able to get a decent game most of the time.

To be honest TW isn't much about the online experience, the single player campaign is the main focus.

Well during peak hours you might find it hard to get logged on. That's late afternoon in the US. It's been a known issue at at least with the community for a while, but we still do manage to get good games in, just not as often as we would like.

In one sense you are right CA has clearly left MP by the way side considering other RTS games out there. However with the introduction of Hotseat multiplayer there is a whole new side to that coin. I'll never play another single player campaign again when I can join up with a bunch of friends here for an online hotseat game.

So yes when it comes to battles my inquiring friend masterbaker is unfortunately right to an extent. But that's not the only aspect of multiplayer either.
