Default SURPRISE: No protest against Paralympics in Beijing

    :hmmm:

Alright, now, guys. If you do support a Free Tibet or a cheat free games, why don't you protest against the Paralympics AS WELL? I mean, are disabled people incapable of making ethical decision or what? Are they automatically more pro-Chinese Tibet because of their limited locomotion?

It's been on my mind. Why Olympics but NOT paralympics?
Both are held in the same venue: the capital of the evil kommuneez country known as China. And yet somehow China gets away with Paralympics...we are NOT amused. If you really hate us for our sheer ignorance of fundamental human rights, at least protest against the Paralympics as well. Bah.

    What's next?
China forces normal athletes to go through amputations to compete in Paralympics?
    LMAO.

    I do.
And Pakistanis as well. China's hold on Tibet is a reason why there's peace between them and their big neighbor (aka India).

baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw the round eyes don't approve of our government! baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw! WE'RE VICTIMS! PITY US! SO OPPRESSED BY THE WEST! WE'VE DONE NOTHING WRONG AND THEY HATE US CUZ THEY RACIST AND BITTER. BAAAAAAAAAAAAW

The paralympics are simply not large-scale enough in public conscious or recognition from other nation states to make people feel they should protest it. While much complaints were about Chinese Foreign or Domestic Policy, cases such as the underaged gynmnasts haven't happened during the Paralympics. People aren't going to use any case of a western activity in China as a chance to raise concerns about China's Government, otherwise they'd be hoarse in the throat.

Here we see 23 yr old chinese wheelchair racer Xin Tao training for his upcoming events, accusations of course have been flying that Xin is not 23 but is in fact only 19 1 year younger then the requirement for the event. Chinese government officials have denied these accusations and have demanded an apology for such slanderous remarks for hurting the feelings of the chinese race.

    Perhaps...

Some of the Chinese divers have retinal damage from training so young, before their eyes can take the damage.

I am at a loss as to where this kind of thread should go. However, since the heart of it is that there is a lack of current events (the missing protest), so I feel there is little constructive discussion to be had here. Closed.
