Download and install the BI 1.6. It will upgrade RTW to 1.5 and BI to 1.6.
I downloaded it from Fileshack, but its only a "File" I cant open it or anything. When I try to download it from tw.com all I get is a blank page with the internet bar saying "connecting"..... pleaseing help me with this
my computer is
ing me off.
http://dl.sega.com/sega/downloads/pa..._patch_1-6.zip... is where I'm trying to get it from now...
I can get to this link and start a download. The file is a 'zip' file - the file has been compressed to take up less space which also speeds up downloads. You may need to install WinZip to be able to unzip it. Some PCs come with the ability to unzip files.
When it's unZipped it will be an 'exe' file and you just double left mouse click on it to run it. I htink tere may be a readme text file as well.
When you apply this patch you need to check that your RTW is still 1.5 as it's possible for this patch to downgrade RTW from 1.5 to 1.3! If this happens you need to apply the 1.5 patch as well.
The version number of the game is shown on the top right hand side of the options menu.

I already got it from FileFrontDirect file dl ftw! Anyway, I found a way around the "zip" file problem; instead of left-clicking on the link, I can right-click and pick "save target as..." this helps as I don't have to wait for my internet to connect (and believe me, it takes HOURS) just so I can download these files
