Here is a list to all threads going on about the planned factions for RenTW 3.0 so that we can keep our stickies more organized (and in eyesight). Thanks for the idea, Augustus Lucifer; I always found my way around here, but never thought about how difficult it got for casual members to find what they're looking for.

in this timeperiod, the Netherlands strted to be important. Why aren't they playable?

I suppose it's because for the publicly available beta, we haven't added any factions that didn't already exist, and the upcoming version has a timespan of 1492-1555, which was yet before the fall of Antwerp, and thus the rise of the Republic.
Being a student of Dutch, I sure hope we can one day make a version which plays out later, and in which the Netherlands will be playable!

Is a great mod, the period of the modern warfare is very interesting, the next version of the mod you will be out soon ? thanks for the rep

Unfortunately, the next major release is not that soon; we'll have to have many new models and skins for those before we can go on and only after much work can we publish it.

They will be separate factions, but since their unit rosters are very similar, we have one thread for them all.

why is not Albania, Serbia, Greece ect included in these nations roster? with all do respect i have seen countless mods that fail to include playable Albania, or even other balkan nations besides Greece. During the Renaissance period Albania was not controlled but free under the Leader Gjergj Kastrioti who contributed to the rennaisance growth by holding the ottomans at bay.

They along with the other balkan people should be playable nations.

There is a maximum of factions that the game engine can handle, so we have to do selections.
Besides, Gjergj Kastrioti lived well before the timespan of the mod (the latter is 1492-1555 in the version in progress).
