Can this mod work on the steam downloaded M2TW?

craappppp is there any way to make this mod work on the steam powered downloaded version of m2tw?

ive been researching which medieval mod 2 get and this one i instantly liked alot and ive pretty much found out everything i need to know about it and GREAT JOB on this mod u guys it seems excellent!!

when m2tw first came out i eagerly bought it off steam since for me the closest best buy (or anywhere that sells games) is at least 4 hours away .. but since i have come to realize my folly as im not sure if mods will work on it cause for one its installed into a different folder and the files could possibly be different from the disk version??

but the main issue is that when i download it i will have to update it and on the installation instructions for this mod it doesnt say what patch(s) are needed?

so in conclusion i have both medieval 2 and kingdoms downloaded on steam and i want to play this mod really bad vanilla is just...

well that .. doesnt really help both of mine are downloaded from steam..not to mention those 2 people didnt even finnish solving his problem ha soo.... this sucks. no ones helping

Cant you just launch SS6.1 using the launcher provided by CA?

uhhh.. elaborate? how/can i even install it in the first place... probabply just in a different directory but im not sure about the patching still

I've got retail version of M2TW, and the steam version of Kingdoms. And I'm running this mod with no problems. All you have to do is make sure to swap the install directory to the correct place, and it should run just fine.

I don't think that there will be any difference with the steam version of M2TW, either. Good luck!

I have the steam version for both M2TW and Kingdoms, and they work fine with this mod.

When you have Kingdoms installed, just launch Medieval II: Total War Kingdoms from the My Games tab of the steam window and it will open the launcher. Click on Play and you can choose to launch the 4 Kingdoms campaigns, and any mods that you have installed.
