I built this sweet comp and havent played the game since but now that im playing it again im hitting like 60 fps with everything on high and largest unit size and my 9800 GX2 is getting up to 80 C and its causing my room to heat up really bad =(. any help would be greatly appreciated.

At 80 C, I'd be buying new computer. Got a water cooled case? If not, next option. Cray's been using them since the 60's.

Well, if you live in the northern hemisphere with the onset of winter that could be quite handy (if you don't pay for the electric bills).
I would have thought that the PC would either become unstable at those temperatures or at least have a lmited lifespan.

Re: can you set maximum fps?
my comps always been that hot and im not really concerned until it hits 90 C. I live in Texas and my comp is on the 2nd floor witch is not a good place for a gaming comp. I know most people freak out when they here 80 C but truth is, these video cards were made to run that hot. But nyways i can usually keep it in the 70's by limiting the FPS on wtv im playing so any help with my original question?
