before you will start screaming bloody murder, yes it is indeed the first channel, it is owned by the govt, and of course it is all commie baby-eating propaganda. now you can calm down and just watch the Russian journalists version of events, from the inside of the city. this is very interesting indeed.

IS THIS THE SAME ONE WITH GENOCIDE PLASTERED ON THE SCREEN FOR 5 STRAIGHT MINUTES? OR WILL WE BE HEARING THE REPORTS OF 2000 DEAD THAT THE RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT ADMITTED TO BE LIES?

watch the ing footage and stop your hysterical screaming. it is a video documentary by a jouralist who was in Tskhinvali. may be too much of a documentary for your liking, actually. because the video footage is too hard for you to swallow.

if this "documentary" (lol yea right) was anything other then pro Russian it wouldnt be aired on a channel owned by the RUssian government.

    We did. Same same.

Remember, the Russians artillery-attacked Tskhinvali too, or did Russia not see to tell that?

On a serious note, a documentary coming out of Russia is a paradox.

how is that paradox? you never seem to have a problem citing German sources, for example. well, guess what, Nazi propaganda was much worse than the Soviet one.

or even take American sources. how many times were Americans caught bluntly lying (including about Iraq)? and yet you seem to have no problem whatsoever to refer back to the same sources.

this only means one thing. it is not Russian sources that are extremely biased. it is you, who is extremely biased against Russian sources.

other than that, have a wonderful rest of the day .

To be honest I am biased. I have pre-existing opinions of Russian Sources. Generally because of their use of:

    1. Inaccurate Information
    2. Not adequately checking their sources
    3. Watching the term, 'GENOCIDE" float on the screen for nearly a week
    4. Clear unjustified prejudice against Georgia.

So yeah, I am biased against Russian Sources, but I think I have good reasons.

As well as western media, who used footages of burning Tshinvali, while yelling about carpet bombings of Tbilisi that never happened.

I'd like to see some footage of these so-called 'western' media's... I love to see how the media of several countries, which very different cultural backgrounds can be classified as one, and all be as well-oiled as the Soviet.. I mean Russian state-controlled TV.. I really do! (And don't mention FOX, we all know, so it's boring and doesn't represent western media as a whole!)

    Edit..
Bravo, you say something about CNN, and then you couple it with footage and coverage from Russia Today.
Let me fetch you a cookie for that fine achievement!
