Problems With The Family Tree
I have 6.1 installed. This happened about 25 or so turns back, probably about halfway through a long campaign with England. My family tree was working fine, I pressed the button, it showed up...voila.
I had one of my princesses, a daughter of the King (who had been elevated by a kingmaker, so it was out of the old line in the family) marry a Polish general. The original heir, who was in another line of the family died, and the Pole became faction heir. This confused me as the king had an actual biological son. The only thing I can figure is the game thinks someone who marries the oldest child (the princess in this case) out ranks the first born son. I'm pretty sure that's wrong but whatever.
So the king dies, and the polish general becomes king, and my family tree dissapears. When I press the button now, all I see are what I guess are the original king and queen of poland, both who died sometime in the late 1100's. And it says that he was the king of england, he has that little shield on his pic. This being the 1300's now, it's a bit weird. So not even the polish general (now king) shows up. I can't see my family tree at all. I'm hoping it fixes itself when the king dies, which won't be for a while. Anyone ever encountered this.

Re: Problems With The Family Tree
It's fixed in the Kingdoms 1.5 patch. I remember having it myself. You can cure it by sending the king into battle alone and having him slaughtered aswell, but if I recall, the patch can be installed without it screwing with SS.

Re: Problems With The Family Tree
Ah, I will try that. Thanks. It really bummed me out, since looking at the family tree and reading all the traits is one of my favorite parts of the game.
