Hey guys this is a democratic forum and if he wants to raise any issues that he feels the SS team have not addressed “being Aesthetics or historic” then I say "let him" Closing a thread just because its members don’t say or ask the right questions is not in the spirit of TWCenter, also i see no insult intended by his question? in fact it is a valid question? We all appreciate the efforts that have went in to making this mod.. But it should never get in the in between objectivity…

I see by some of your other posts that you've at least looked at Broken Crescent. You're not going to find that level of detail in this or other "Western-centric" mods. Not saying that's bad, just a different focus.
I'm sure that one of the Resident Wizards will eventually do for the ME factions what's already been done for others with Battle for the Baltic, Knights Templar Mini-mod and Complete Byzantine Unit Roster.

As aduellist has brought out, if an eastern focus is your main concern, you may wish to invest some quality time with BC{ Broken Crescent}. Stainless Steel as you have seen takes in a somewhat broader spectrum.
The sub-mod forum here contains 100 or so quality products that enrich SS's spectrum. So there are many folks here that think that SS is indeed
Great. Try SS and see what you think. Cuz your the only one that can say whether or not SS does something for you.
As to historically accurate skins I'm not qualified to speak.
I hope you find something you can sink your teeth into. Let us know if SS fits the bill.

Several threads have already addressed this question, some have even had some ideas about improving the situation, what we haven't had is a concerted effort to actually bring all this to fruition so far. (Although I understand that some people are working on this.)
Like all mods Stainless Steel is user supported, hence the many sub-mods. If you want something done you are free to do it yourself or assemble a crew to work on it. Inevitably people will concentrate on what they are most interested in.
