Just realized...SPQR Overwrote my vanilla!??!

Damn! See, this would not bother me normally, but I hear word that Paeninsula Italica is coming out in a week or so...

Was SPQR meant to do this? It was my understanding that most mods are -modswitch nowadays.

Well I don't use mod switch. But if SPQR came out before mod switch then it might not work. I don't really know any details tough so don't trust my answer on that.

SPQR TW doesn't work with mod:switch

however, if you would de-install SPQR TW (back up your saves, killsheet and all that!!!) and de-install RTW, then re-install, you just copy your RTW vanilla folder, so you have 2, then on one install SPQR TW, and if PI comes out, copy your RTW folder once again.
so you have 3 version: SPQR TW, vanilla and PI

in this way i have more then 12 versions

err yes itz you. ive been looking for you...
i need *cough* help *cough* i have SPQR TW downloaded. i have rune the setup many times. after the setup is finished i start up rome total war but nothing happens.
i have 1.5 and i have deleted the events.dat file also.
any help please? email me at killnoobzkill@hotmail.com if you have any tips thx. oh also where should i put the files to make it work? that might help _ALOT_ they are curently in data i also have an open folder saying "total war" on my desk top, i open that up and thats where the SPQR 6.4 SETUP or install is i dont no what it is called cuz im on a dif comp atm. so yeh plz help

i also tried installing rs once or twice and after like 2 months i finaly crfacked it and made it work. i dont remember how. but campagns didnt work on RS only custom battles. and thats all that worked. this may be the same _sort_ of problem thx in advance

I had fifteen mods at one time-then my comp crashed.
they were
SPQR, EOD, EODII, TE, LOTRTW, TTW, RS, RTR, FATW, XGM, ROP, BBW, Chiv, Conquests of Trajan, Res gestae.
Lucky V with the good computer.

you should do a multie install of your vanilla folder on for SPQR and the other one for the mod switcher.

oke uninstall your rome game and patches, delete all folders that are left when uninstalling, you realy need to delete them by hand afhter uninstallment. afther this reinstall rtw, patch it to version 1.5 and reinstall SPQR 6.4
