Default Sudan, who do you back?

From what you know of the conflict/s who do you back, you are allowed 2 choices, one for Dafur, one for South Sudan.

+EDIT forgot to add poll (well done spamurai ) can a mod add 4 poll options "[North-south conflict] Khartoum", "[North-south conflict] Rebels", "[Dafur conflict] Rebels" and "[Dafur conflict] Khartoum". Thanks.
Click on Thread Tools and click add a poll. It took me a while to find that out.

But for the topic, I support Southern Sudan and Dafur, by this I am not saying that Sudan is the only one to blame, but I don't like their (well, let's say) style.

I don't think I can support any side. The rebels don't appear to be "defenders of human rights" either.

    Sudan is ed.

    Darfur Rebels FTW.

I am for the unarmed civilians cought in the middle -- there might still be some somewhere. The Sudanese in the capital are in a differant world from the rural stretches of countryside in conflict. They are somewhat aware -- but being aware does not necessarily mean much when despots are fighting each other. Until the war comes to the capital no one will intervene and no one will dominate.

    The rebels.

Frankly, I don't support a government which supports genocide...

Both sides "support genocide", if you want to get technical. There are also far more rebel factions than "just a few".

I support the Rebels, both in the North and the South. They are fighting--vainly though it seems--against the vicious Jihad from the government in Khartoum.

It angers me that the wimps on the UN haven't bothered to do a thing about it.

Many rebel factions lost all legitimacy, in my opinion, when they began forcefully conscripting civilians using terror tactics. Wiping out a whole village for not contributing manpower to the rebellion so the next village will is a dirty tactic.

People in polls about sudan always vote for the rebels. (Especially me. )
