Removing SS' trade boat model?
I happen to think that the big, dark brown boat models on the strategy map used to indicate sea trade look pretty ugly.
I want to know how I can revert to the vanilla ones (or a model from another mod?)
I found the files in Stainless_Steel_6\data\terrain\aerial_map\ships
there's trade_boat.CAS and a textures folder with Riczu_trade_boat.tga.dds
but if I just remove the ships directory no trade ships show up at all!

They should show up -- play a few turns and see if they start appearing.

Ah you're right. They show up the next turn in fact. There are my pretty little ships! Thanks.

Re: Removing SS' trade boat model?
I remember once I was half-asleep during a the AI's turn when I notice this armada off my coast. I was Egypt and targeted by a crusade but I didn't expect them yet. The imaged flashed by before I could take a good look, and I despaired. Oh my, did all of Europe get smart and invade me by sea? I'm doomed!
But it was only those darn trade boats.

Re: Removing SS' trade boat model?
You have to wait a couple of turns. They appear slowly.
