    Hello,

    Congrats for this great mod! I'd like to point out some thing that I consider to be a bit out of order. I don't now if they are bugs, but here they are anyway:

    Playing as the Byzantines in High Era. Currently I am in turn 91.
    • In Constantinople recruited Klibanophoroi and Kataphracts emerge as General's units. Latinkon emerge as regular unit as expected.
    • In well developed conquered castles (Armenia, Missina etc.) only some low tier infantry units and one cav unit are recruitable. The same is also true for home castle of Sinope (as pointed-out by someone else in this thread).
    • Missina and Brindisi are missing the option to build a church.
    • On the bright side, I didn't have a single CTD during my campaign!

    This is normal, but I am starting to reconsider making elite cav appear as Generals. The main problem I am having with this is that they will count vs the field cost script. I think this may be going back to normal, and will be replaced by recruitable generals from the Feudalization buildings.

    That is because they are outside of your "Culture" zone, you will get more units as you progress up the Feudal building line. Sinope is a bug, and has been corrected in the upcoming patch.

    This is restricted by hidden resources, but I am also thinking about doing away with this. 112 turns into my high campaign, there are no Cardinals in the college of cardinals

    I don't know if this was already asked here, I couldn't find. My problem is the following: I downloaded the mod and installed in the correct directory but when I click in the shortcut to start the game the DOS screen appears for about half second and then crushes. It doesn't last the sufficient to lauch the game. Even if I tray to launch in the .exe file into the Sicilian Vespers folder the same thing happens. There was no older SV folders into the M2TW directory neither other mods.
    Thank you and congratulations for your job, it's the best Europe mod I've ever played.

    @OTZ & Roy Haggerty

    This should now be in the game section of your SicilianVespers.cfg:

    campaign_map_game_speed = 10
    campaign_map_speed_up = 1

    Try playing with the campaign_map_game_speed. Maybe change it to 50 or so. I believe the "campaign_map_speed_up = 1" is basically like hitting the space bar during a strat piece's move.

I installed, reinstalled, uninstalled, installed again, restarted the pc and nothing. I've also checked if the game files and the .exe are in the correct place, but the game doesn't launch. By the way, the game has 665 MB (698.034.617 bytes). Any help would be welcome.
    Try starting it via the exe in the mods\SicilianVespers folder.

    I've tried to launch via the .exe, but the same thing happens. There is a thing a forgot tho say: when I intalled the game, the mod Broken Crescent was installed (I believe it doens't has those .sd files). I unintalled Broken Crescent after. Do you think I should uninstall the whole game and try to install the mod again?

    BC comes with a modfolder and installs into the M2 directory, if i recall it right. I had ran it too (but an early version of BC so i cannot swear about a non-influence) parallel in the past with SV 2.5 without issues. There shouldn't be the reason for your issue.

    Did you ever check if your M2 or Kingdoms plays normal?

    Any chance for this exam? Very low, because the established Anthropocentrism destroys the basis of existence.

    Seems like I encountered another bug. I am playing with Serbia in the Dark Age. Every time I try and use my spy on other characters/armies or cities the game crashes. It says it encountered an unspecific problem. Nothing else. I tried it several times in the time span of about 50 years and always get the same result. Other than that the game never crashes...

    the other factions' docks don't seem to be working either.. also, the potential trade routs are not even present on the map, for me nor the other factions. re-installing doesn't make it work either.
    Are you sure you have the trade fleet producing building in the settlement?

    I will have to look at the DS, as Genoa should start out with trade fleets.

    Noted, thanks.

    I have not been able to duplicate this problem:

    There may be a problem with your sound files, are you using a non-english M2?

    Default Cannot get past faction selection screen.

    I cannot get past the faction-selection screen. I hope someone can help me. Here's what I've done:

    Mistakenly believing that v 2.5 was the latest, I installed that first. Then I realized 3.0 was out, so I ran the 2.5 uninstaller. Then I ran the 3.0 installer. I'm fairly sure my M2TW install is fully patched.

    I have tried starting several of the eras (Late/Grand, High, and Early) following the correct procedure. However, upon making a faction selection and clicking the button to start the campaign, the game locks up (100% CPU usage as per Win2K Task Manager, no HDD activity) indefinitely: the faction selection screen remains displayed.

    Has anyone run into this before? Can anyone suggest something I might check? I am quite eager to run this mod!

    Many Thanks,

    Do you have the vanilla .sd files in the M2\data\ui folder?

    The game will crash with a generic insufficient memory error (or something to that effect), if it can't find these files.

    If you deleted them, just copy the .sd files from the SV folder into M2\data\ui.

    Also, do you have the M2\data\SicilianVespers\data folder?

    I think I found a bug myself, though one that is very hard to come across again!

    One of my princesses braught a danish guy into our fold, and all my other scotish leaders rebeled and he became king. However, now that he is king, the family tree page shows the first danish king and his dead wife. Yet I am still getting new family members, at least ones growing up.

    I have a few things to report.

    Missina, Wahran, & Barcelona need to be moved away from the water. The units that are trying to leave those cities end up over the water and there is a cluster of 10+ armies stuck over the water next to each city. I think that may have caused my CTD.

    Playing Genoa, I took over Edinburough & Riga to name a few, and cannot build my regular units. only levies and archers.

    The pirate navies are still out of control

    Any estimate on the release of a patch?

    Great game btw, just a bit buggy.

    Then it needs to be added for certain campaigns at least to Nottingham and a few other (haven't the England regions now in my mind). Not so in Dark Age as of course it hadn't any citadels nor big stone castles in europe, btw.!
    Anyway, about which era camp do you talk above? I'm pretty sure the Early, High and Late and normally also the Renaissance has Nottingham as castles with hidden_resource main ... .
