Night Battle issue

I seem to have a problem with night fights. All that fire slows my frame rate annoyingly low, and I'd have hoped 3 gig ram was enough to handle a little fire... (made by two armies of ~2k troops on the horizon, what a sight that was )


Any way to tune down the flame or tweak something?

Has nothing to do with RAM, it has to go with how good of a graphics card you have. Lower your graphics settings and the FPS will increase.

HD 3650 ought to be enough... The thing is, it only slows down when seeing the flames, any other time its as smooth as possible. I can actually speed the game up by moving the camera away from large concentrations of fire.


I was wondering if there's a specific graphic setting that controls that, or a way to disable fire graphics altogether, if nothing else.

I have never seen that happen, TBH. So I don't what to say.
