TTW 4.50 modfolder edition (Most up-to-date version)

Hello! I'm trying to install this mod and I do everything in the proper order - Clean RTW + BI + BI 1.6 patch + TTW 4.5.0 and i can't start the trojan wars campaign, neither custom battles. Can anyone help me with this? What must I do to start the TROJAN WARS? Thank you and merry christmas to all!

Are you getting an error message or is the game just crashing? Have you tried to reinstall the game?

Yes, i got a message. When I quit comes a error window and it says that I have a problem with a starting date of campaign in world/data..... 25 column..something like this.

Yes, just be sure to select the right destination folder

I have a problem with the TTW V. 4.5.
When I press the button to end the turn, I have a CTD.
I have the RTW Gold Edition and no more Mods was installed.
Moddata and fix was installed like the infos in the installer readme.

4.5 modfolder edition doesnt need any fixes installed, like it says in the instructions.

Instructions:
1) Make sure you have an unmodded installation of RTW-BI 1.6
2) Download the TTW 4.5.0 - modfolder edition full installer from here or here. [187 MB]
EDIT
New mirrors available at strategy informer
3) Install to a directory in which RomeTW-BI.exe exists (the root RTW folder)
VISTA Users: Run the installer as Administrator!
4) Play Troy Total War with the Troy shortcut created on your desktop

I reinstalled it without the fix, but i have still the same problem.

You will need to reinstall all of RTW now because the fix altered some of the original files.

I done.
I had uninstalled TTW, then RTW and then I deleted the rest of data´s.
Afters this, I installed both new.
Unfortunately still the same problem.

Ideas?

Ok here is the hotfix, all this trouble was caused over one buggy name

I have included the descr_strat and export_descr_unit of my version too just to make sure.

I got some problem installing the game, hopefully someone is able to help me, when i install the game and i point it to the one where all my Rome Total war stuff is, it says that RomeTW - BI 1.6 is not there, so i go out find patch 1.6 and when i installed that patch it said something about me having RTW gold edition so i can't install it so anybody please tell me what to do cause i've heard so much great about this mod

What version of RTW do you have?

You must have RTW installed + Barbarian Invasion installed and patched to 1.6. If you have this and select the Rome - total war folder it will work.

i have gold edition = RTW & BI on one disc and i can't patch it because that according to what's written in the error message

Gold edition is already version 1.6?

If you start BI as normal and go into options it will tell you the version number. If so then simply install TTW to the correct directory and no patches are needed.

it still doesn't work please verify if this is the correct thing that should be written as the ''target'' if you know what i mean "C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\RomeTW-BI.exe" -show_err -mod:TTW

Question about getting the intro video to play.
You mean you have to overwrite the barbarian invasion intro movie with the TROY one, not the original rtw one, right?
What about the lose and victory videos? Do you need to replace those so the TROY videos will play?
