I have been converting RTW unit graphics into Civ5. Could I use a few of your models and textures if I give due credit? They would be found in the civfanatics web site. My name there is JTitan. Thanks for reading.

Hello:
I just Downloaded the file and when I put it in the folder it needs to go too, a pop up says, "RTW-BI1.6 could not be found in this folder." I made sure I had the 1.6 patch what am I doing wrong? please let me know.
see if you have the bi.exe file, or the bi data file. that should help..
I tryed still the same thing when I try to install it![]()
Alright so I have played this game before. It is very fun and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have attempted to install it once before on this computer however I have already installed RTR VII, which just so happens to use the BI folder, although I am not sure why. So when I installed TTW I got a message saying that it could not locate the sound nor could it locate the Oliphants, which as we are aware of is a cheat to get you giant elephants. So my only question is, does this mean that I cannot play TTW on the same computer that I have installed RTR VII? Please help me out.
posting so I can download the mod
Can't wait to play!!!
I have this problem I downloaded troy total war correctly and everything ram it as administrator and even reinstalled when it asked me too just to make sure it didn't download correctly but when I click on the shortcut it ALWAYS SAYS Failed cannot find steam ive deleted it and downloaded it again like 5 times and it still says that HOW DO I FIX THIS? (I have windows 7)
A great modthx so much
Though the unit pictures look kind of ugly, but I dont mind..
Also some negative things I have noticed... There is something wrong with the battle difficulties. I usually play on medium and get enough challenge from it. Though in this mod it is incredibly easy, aswell on the Hard difficulty. On medium, your units dont lose much men while fighting, and the enemies lose man after man and flees quickly. And the battle summary usually is clear victory with 1100 enemy kills and 52 losses. What? And they had a clear superiority with manpower and more advanced units. When battling on hard, its the same exact thing except that your losses are usually around 100's.
Al though when I chose Very Hard, it got ridiculously hard. For example, I was defending my city against Theban forces, apperently only two units of weak archeries. First I autoresulted, but it made my units suffer very big losses, though it was a victory. So I loaded back to old save and try to fight it myself. I had about a six unit army againts them, including advanced spearmen, two archer units, swordmen plus two generals. Very clear superiority. I positioned my units outside the city to face them, sent out my two archers soften them. My archers suffered big losses so I decided to just kill them with melee. The theban archers kept running for like two minutes, I marched my units so that they wouldnt get tired so quickly. Al though when the enemies finally stopped with exhaustion and attacked my units. I though that it finally over, but then my units suffer heavy losses and start to flee. Those weak, pathetic archers who fought with butter knives? All my spearmen and swordmen units fled, and I sent my generals to kill them. Though with some losses, they succeeded. The archers fled, I won the battle. Funny thing is that the auto result was finally correct.
Anyone else? Very good mod otherwise.
Hey quick question Gigantus. How do I modify the diplomacy? Starting out as the Mycenae you are at war with everyone. I wanted a more sandbox experience so I wanted to make everyone neutral.
Thanks
