Install and patching questions ...

I'm going to do a clean install of MTWII and kingdoms and SS

What order should I be installing and which patches?
ie theres the MTWII and it's patches and then kingdom and its patch and then SS and its patch and then the mods.

Also do I need to make another directory if I want to play the vanila game also without SS? Or will I be able to run vanila or SS?

just install MTW2 with kingdoms and install the latest patch for kingdoms.
then just follow the installation here:

no extra directory needed, you still can play the vanilla game or SS6.1 as you like, SS6.1 has a own launcher-symbol.
