    Default Descr_strat.txt help

Ok, so I am trying to edit the file for the grand campaign, Descr_strat.txt. Whenever i edit it it tells me that it is unable to create the file. It tells me that the path or file name is incorrect. Though, I am positive it is.

    Any Help?

This is an easy one methinks. The file you are trying to edit is set to read only. Untick the read only option, apply. Make the changes to the file and save it. Then set the file to read only again.

I've already unchecked "Read Only". It still doesn't let me save it.

ah right then. you can do one of two things here. First you can disable user account control in the control panel, restart your comp and it will let you change the read only thing.

Secondly, the shorter but more frustrating way is to copy the file to your desk top, disable read only, apply, make changes to the file, save. re-apply read only. Once you have done that, cut or copy the file from your desktop and paste back into the original folder.

Either way it should fix your problem.

Let me know how you get on.

Have you tried what I said above. Im almost certain this will solve your problem as I had the same problem myself with my vista laptop a week or so ago.

The reason it's telling you that the path or filename is incorrect is because the file is read only and you are trying to replace the file by saving, which it wont let you do.
