unit description

hi,

is there somewhere a downloadable unit description?
i know of the online database, but i was looking for something handy to print.

for the vanilla game i got a link to "the FUSIL (Faction Unit Stat Illustrations)",
is there something similar for SS6.1 around?

You could just copy paste the units to make it fit better on a paper. I dont know of anything else.
It would be sweet if the guy who made FAUST made one for ss also.

no, it´s not too practical to use the online-db.
hmm, the copyright in the file goes to "brandybarrel"...anybody knows him??
would realy be cool if he could modify his version for SS6.1

another thing i just came up with...anybody know what the unit trait "very long spears" has as effect?
pike units seem to have it.

Probably means that, seeing as a pike is massively long, means that 1) They can't go on walls, 2) They are doubly deadly in defence. Thats just conjecture mind you.

pikes can go on walls (daft but true)

Had the AI randomly (?) put them there in a settlement when it was infested with an enemy spy and the gates kept getting opened every time they attacked.

Pikes are for gates not walls. IMHO.

yup, there should be a special effect for it...tetsu, your 2) could realy be it, but i´d like something to count...numbers....something i can compare other units to see if it´s worth it.

still hope someone here knows what it´s good for
