A Question

I really need help. I truly want to play this game. Here is the problem:

I have very old versions, Stainless Steel 4.0 and 5.0. How do I delete them? I have downloaded everything. But, when I try to install part 1 of Stainless Steel 6.1 it says:

Stainless_Steel_6.0_Part1of2 has not been totally installed because of the following reason:

mods\Stainless_Steel_6\data\fmv\event\teutonic_faction_intro.blk: This file contains invalid data. (error 11FD)

You will have to run this utility again to fully install this.

I ran it again but it still does not work. I downloaded all these files from this website called strategyinformer. I cannot use any of the links provided. I cannot use Rapidshare or that Filefront. Even all the torrents I have tried so far has failed. So what could the problem be?

Your download is corrupted.
You will have to re-download in order to install, ss6 installs separately of all other SS versions so there will be no problem there.

Okay I have downloaded everything! And during the installation for Stainless Steel 6.1, I did not tick Byg's Grim Reality III and Byg's Supply Traits. Yet when I played, my characters had the traits! How do I get rid of it?

The option was "remove supply traits", better pay more attention next time!
