i installed a unhosted mod i got board unistalled it was punic wars but i still got something that makes it incompatible with other mods i tryed reinstalling but not working

If it isn't then I think the only way is to uninstall / reinstall RTW.
I personally keep each mod in it's own folder. I keep a clean install in one folder (RTW 1.6 RTW BI 1.6) and copy that each time I want a new mod. You never know if a mod foldered game also updates files in the main game folder.

What does 'not working' mean - is there any message or does the game launch so far and then crash or simply when you click on the shortcut nothing happens?
