Quick Question

If I were to use the give_trait cheat, what would the trait name be for the Scholar and Academic Teacher (It might called something else, I always get it wrong) traits? I have tried both their names as they appear in characters trait lists, to no avail.

Also, could anybody look up the triggers and chances of these traits occurring? I'm no good with these files and code searching.

I believe it's triggered on birth of a character. Maybe that's why you can't give it? It should be in export_descr_character_traits file in your Stainless Steel/data folder. I'd dig for you but I'm not with my copy of the game atm.

Well the traits must be entered correctly, I believe the ones you are looking for are;

> Scholar_birth
> Inspiring_teacher_western
> Inspiring_teacher

Thanks for the help, both of you, although I cannot get those traits to process. Perhaps I'm entering the cheat wrong?

I've tried give_trait "Barbus Selvo" "Scholar_birth" I've also tried various forms of capitalization of the trait, and use of quotes. None have worked, of course. I've also tried the exact same thing except with the "Inspiring_teacher" trait.
