As HRE I was forced to conquer Scotland (well they forced me, I tried to keep peace but they just wouldn't let me ). Sure enough, William Wallace appeared, but hiding in the bushes near to where he spawns was the lovely princess Wulfhild der Rote, ready to do her duty like a true dotter of the Vaterland. She knew where Billie always took his weekly bath, and she was there first... You know the rest of the story.

The lovely Wulfhild had a bad trait or two, though... Although she was "fair", she was also "barren" and "unpleasant". William, who now went by the name of Wilhelm, had given up the hope of having a legit heir. But lo and behold! Wulfhild's prayers were heard, and little Cuntz was born.

Now, you would expect the little laddie to be called Cuntz Wallace, or maybe even Cuntz von der Wallace... But he was registered in the family tree as Cuntz von Staufen! What is the mean of this travesty? This... this... INSULT??

I just noticed that Wulfhild didn't become Wulfhild Wallace either... she still keeps her maiden name. I think William was given a bad bargain here. Like those princesses that run away with the noble, and who are promised that "very soon, there will be a new addition to our family" but it never happens...
