    The latest quick fix can be found here:
    -removed because a new version is now available-
    this quickfix solves the following:
    - crash while loading battles involving the Massagetae cavalry(missing texture)
    - carthaginian Paved Road and Great Estate having the cards of roman barracks
    - crash while loading battles involving the Samnite infantry(missing texture)

    Please report here any bugs you find.

    1. it may help to note the version of your game and the method of install. If you don`t know what version is your game start it and click OPTIONS and then check the upper right corner of your screen where it should be "ver.1.5".

    2. if you get a CTD (crash to desktop) and you get an error message please remember it or take a picture of it and write/show it here.

    3. if the issue can be shown in pictures please take a shot of it and attach the image to your post. If you don`t know how to do this follow this guide:
    a. Hit Print Screen key on your keyboard to capture the image into memory.
    b. Open any graphics program such as MSPaint, Infranview, ACDSEE, or Photoshop, etc.
    c. Hit Ctrl-V
    d. Save the image as .jpg
    e. While making a new post
    f. Hit "Manage Attachments"(scroll down under your text section). Hit the "Browse" button
    g. Select the .jpg file you just saved, hit ok, and then hit "Upload"
    h. Complete the post by hitting "Submit Reply"

    Ok, first bug report.

    I got a CTD during the loading of a custom battles, playing as Greek Cities against Scythia.

    I use Rome: Total War Gold Edition. I have already played a battle with the Romans agains the Mauryans and it worked fine.

    Here is the message error:
    Generic Error:
    Failed to find texture 'RG/data/RG/models_unit/textures/ResGestae_Prom_cav_ScythoSarm_Messagetaelancer_scythia.tga'.

    I trie this battle two times, two CTD.

    That`s odd. I`m guessing Salvor managed to remove the texture for the release version .. somehow.

    Download the quickfix.

    It contains the missing texture and hopefully it will cure your problem. Let me know. It`s save game compatible. Just copy it inside your Rome - Total War folder and overwrite the RG sub-folder with the one in the fix.

    I don't know if this is on purpose or a bug but I set my unit size to huge in the options menu and when I go into a battle there is still only 42 man units.

    played as the seleucids and after i captured Damascos, when i click at the enslave population then it crash without error message.

    That`s hapening in more than one mod. In RTR, in TE etc... I don`t know exactly what is causing it. Lusted had a theory that might be tried in a future release, but I don`t know if it actually does anything. Still, it`s a random ctd usually. For example I remember replaying a battle about 10 times(autoresolve) in TE to get passed it. Obviously it helps to have saved games before battles.
    This is a list I`ve done for RTRPE. You`ll find it listed there with some proposed "solutions". See if any work for you.

    The unit sizes look fine in custom battles , it appears it is only in the campaign map that i'm having it.

    Go to:
    Rome - Total War\RG
    and delete(make a backup copy first maybe) the folder preferences.
    Start the game again so that it will be regenerated based on your new changes. I think Salvor included his preferences sub-folder in the install. Let me know if that did the trick.

    It happens sometimes when installing a mod or vanilla.
    Change your unit size to "normal", play a battle, quit it and change size to "huge". Replay a battle. It must work.

    Download the fix3 from the first post and let me know if it has fixed the problem.

    I had the same problem as Yurek. My game froze when I used one of the julii units in a custom battle and I had to restart my pc. I dont know which is the specific unit thats probably bugged. The custom locations are all messed. I bet it wont be a big problem to fix this. All mods face the same problem when released, no matter how much you test them. I hope you guys can bring stability to this mod cause it is a real cool mod for sure. I have to say I loved the installer.

    Hey i'm back with another issue

    I took a screenshot this time and what happened was I was sending a general I had just gotten through adoption down to Sicily and then I clicked end turn when he was right at the tip. Then when it came my turn again I had two generals and a full army! I think it may have been the AI's army {probably ptolemaics} cause the generals name is Ioalos Soter or something like that and it says Retinue Unknown and Traits Unknown when I click on him. Oh and when I tried to move him into Messana the next turn it instantly crashed to desktop. It didn't give me an error message either and -show_err was on too. It is quite a strange bug. Even more interesting , I restarted after the CTD , entered the game and then it showed up as a ptolemaic army and my general was dead .

    i dont know if that is really a bug, but it is strange: i started a game with pontus and it was all going very well. after a while (about30 rounds) i got suspicious, because nobody attecked me. i sent a few diplomats out to gather map information and it seems that every faction stayed in their regions (eg. lacedaimon, parthia, armenia), only the seleucids and the macedons conquered a few rebel cities on asia minor. whats even more strange: all the different factions are at peace with one another. only cartagho and rome are fighting. and everybody around me offers me alliances.
    i played on vh/vh and so far it was quite easy. i expected serious fighting; pontus is a faction which is generally very difficult to play...
    am i incredible lucky or is there something wrong?

    otherwise: really great mod - the units look awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!

    i guess that explains why pontus is all over the place. it is expanding incredibly fast and is actually the main menace to rome in this mod.
    i thought that it was a bit weird too
    is there any historical reason to this?

    @Turkeys: this is the weirdest bug that I have ever seen. I have not scripted anything like that to happen...

    Concerning Pontus expansion, it is something that I will have to work on. I guess that the lack of neighboring factions and being in an area of large resources might have something to do with it.

    I also think that the large map perhaps is making the AI expand slower as there are a lot of rebel settlements between them, some of them heavily garrisoned. I have noticed that Egypt tries to consolidate in Arabia and the Nile regions before confronting the Seleucids, while the Macedonians choose to expand northwards instead of fighting against Sparta.

    Thanks to all for the feedback. Tomorrow I will try to write a quick guide on how some troublesome issues, like the Reforms, work in the mod.
