Default I feel like a massive noob asking this but...

How do I use the .rar file I downloaded for the kingdoms 1.5 patch? :hmmm:

Download winrar (rarlabs.com) it's a free software that let's you open .zip and .rar files and many other files, after you downloaded it and installed it you will be able to double click the file and extract the contents of it, which is either the patch in an executable form or the whole patch itself that you extract into a folder and then use setup.exe. It's a safe program, almost everyone with a computer uses it, so don't worry about that.

Don't feel like a noob for asking questions. Everyone's been a noob.

Once you have downloaded the Kingdoms v1.5 patch, click on the RAR file, and click on "Extract To", the target folder should be -PROGRAM FILES- SEGA- Medieval II.

EDIT: Verena's advice is better, just run the setup.exe

I dont use the "extract to" option... just run the setup.exe and it works fine with the rar.files Ive used in the past.
