possible to recruit princesses?

Anyone know if this is possible? I tried having them recruited like spies in export_descr_building but the game crashes because 'princess' is an unknown agent type?! To be honest all I really want is for them to be able to seduce generals, even if the generals don't actually join the family tree. Any ideas?

I'm pretty sure it is hard coded that you cannot train princesses.

Well, I was suprised to see 'princess' didn't count as an agent type (technically, they 'are' agents in the game files aren't they?), and it's strange that general-characters can be trained if princesses can't.

Princesses are agents. I guess that's just a poor error message on CA's part. I don't know about princesses in particular, but I know that attempts to make other non-recruitable agents, like inquisitors, heretics, and witches, were unsuccessful.

Curses. Thanks anyway. I assume having the princess dissappear after a succesful seduction is also hardcoded.

I never thought about creating them, the reason they disappear is because they are now married and you have control of the general.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the "General" unit that you can recruit, is just a "named character" isn't it? It isn't a family member that appears on the Family Tree to my knowledge. Well if this is the case, that would explain why you can recruit them. Princesses on the other hand are family members just like the "family" agent, so that might be the problem :hmmm:.
