    Default Barbarians in alternate history!

I'm trying to create barbarians in alternate history in my RTR mini-mod.

The goal is to make complete unit rosters for all barbarians who create big empires in alternate history - which people always do in RTW but nobody ever bothered to make better units for them: in most mods you either have to rely on naked tribal warband (RTR) or just nothing but foreign units (as in EB), no matter how big and advanced your empire is!

Here is what I have done so far; you can check my mini-mod thread or skin thread for more details:

Bosporan Kingdom: transformed from Sarmatians. It represents very late period of the kingdom - more sarmatian influenced, rather than to fit the historical timeframe in RTR.

Thracians: changed from the northern Dacia/Getae tribe to nearly-collapsed Odrysian kingdom (was under Macedonian control in 280BC). The army is formed by AOR thracian units and the new units below are all late or elite ones.

Gauls: working on... The campaign will remain the same - Just plain gauls but with many different late units for various regions.

Apart from these new factions and units. There are also many changes intended to make the battle system and campaign more realistic, such as forced unit formation/radius and low population growth.

The next version will cover new set of late-period units for Gauls, Germans, Iberians, Thracians, Numidians. Also reskinned eastern factions if I have time to make it myself.

Any suggestions or comments? Any modders want to join? (need skinners!)
