Keeping formation

Hello TW Community,
If you set your archers infantry and cav into close lines and want to advance them by using the right click drag thing, how do you keep them in the same lines/formation you had them in. right now when i do it it just puts them in 1 line with all 3 types in the same line.

and is it possible to move them forward without having to keep right clicking dragging and pulling the lines back to the width you want.

i'm not sure i understand exactly what you want, but here's what comes in mind

set your units however you want... then select them and group them together, if you select the group (and not the units, either individually or as a whole) and give an order, all the units will execute said order while keeping the formation they have

Try to click th cursor right in the middle of where you want to send them. They should move there without moving to the right or the left and still keep formation.
