kingdoms wont install

i bought a new computer... running vista. i bought the gold pack including both MTW 2 and kingdoms. MTW 2 installed perfectly and the game is awesome. but now that i want to play the kingdoms it wont install.

i have taken some advice and tuned off the user account controls, turned off the firewalls, tried running auto run through the c drive, tried exploring the disk and using auto run... still nothing works.

each and every time i try and run it i get a black box popping up in the top left corner for a split second and then disappears.

im lost and confused... any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you changed any files? Have you unpacked? Can you get a copy of what the black box says?

it pops up way to fast. im not to computer literate to be comfortable unpacking or messing with the files and stuff.
