Default Controlling unlimited men in battle

Hi everyone. I'm just wondering if it's possible to have direct control over unlimited (or at least more than 20 units) on the battlefield. If I allow the AI to take control of reinforcements I can have unlimited units, but having AI controlled units is almost worse than not having them at all... They either do nothing or run to their deaths.

For example I have two stacks of 20 units each sieging a settlement, and if I uncheck the option to let the AI control the reinforcements, then they just sit there waiting until some of the first stack die. Is there any way around this?

    Thanks!

There's no way around this. With Kingdoms, you can give some limited commands to your reinforcements, but it's still not direct control.

Thanks for the quick reply. That's too bad, though. It would be really neat to be able to really control such huge battles.

And sorry for posting in the wrong topic, it's my first time posting.
