Predictably, the Russian claims of around 2000 civilian dead - I'm sure we all remember Russian members claiming Georgians were mass raping and setting civilians on fire - how charmingly imaginative of them - have all proven to be utterly fabricated.

It was obvious as soon it was announced that the 1400 or whatever it was, was a idiotic figure and was Russian Propaganda that only die hard Russian nationalists who listen to Putin controlled Russian state media would believe. 133 causalities is a more realistic figure considering that the Georgian Army run by a democratically elected government.

The 133 figure is hardly a misleading figure its unlikely that 1250+ people were buried unrecorded before the Russians were in control. I would have personally started a similar thread if I hadn't been in the pub when ferrets started this one - the Russians cried genocide to get the world on their side and their government is being shown to be the liars that they are.

Genocide is walking from house to house checking the ethnicity of people, dragging them out and shooting them (or killing them by other means).
