Changing factions during a game
I thought it might be good if one could change factions during a campaign .. is this possible? ie via modding?
I suspect it's just a switch somewhere?

PS, yes, i know there's multiplayer hotseat but i'm thinking more along the lines of controlling one character who then defects but you still play that character but in a different faction .. sounds interesting, yes?

It was possible to do this in Rome with a console command. I don't think it is possible in M2TW.
The command was control <faction>

You can use the control [faction] command in hotseat campaigns (with however many players you like) only.

Problem is you need to know how to use a Hex Editor.
