My king sucks.

My old king, king henry recently died. He was pretty awesome, lots of additional tax income and public order. But after he died, I got the worst possible king you could ask for, everytime he's in a city the taxes are lowered with 30%, and building cost or building time or something like that increased with 60%.. His stats are crap and I hate him, is there a way to elect another king or assassinate him somehow? Oh and, the prince is a war general, I'll never ship him back to england as he's the one I'm conquering regions with, so I'd rather have another prince elected, is this possible?

Well you could put the king in a boat and wait for the rebels to destroy him.

Call a crusade and send him to capture the city. It should boost your Kings stats.

But if that doesn't work, just do what Eddie said, Let the Rebels get em.

kill your prince than your king by chargning them solo into rebel pikemen

Try not to get them fat and lazy in the first place ^^, give him some trash troops, and send him in auto-resolve crusades ^^

He finally died, I sent him on a suicide mission to conquer denmark, I never thought he would progress anythign but I actually took over all of denmark except 1 city, then he died of age. However, when he died, he wasn't actually that bad after all the fighting. But now my superb general is the king, King Miles the Fearless.
