    Default Cinematic editor

Hi i am having some problems with creating battle videos with cine ed. I watched the tutorial like for some 100 times, but i still cant get thrue. So i wonder, maybe someone can help me here?

Problem is that when ever i press play button (in cine ed) it plays normally, but when it goes to a certain point, i cant play it from an earlyer point. I drag the red line to the starting point (it leaves a green line at the point i stopped). And press play. But it continues to play from that green line.

    p.s. sorry for my english.

You gotta press shift and your right mouse button to indicate the point where you want to rewind or fastforward. You normally get a blue bar then. Then press the double arrows to go to that point.
The green bar indicates where the replay is playing now, the red bar is for the camera position at that moment.
Did you watch this vid? Everything is explained there.

Yes, i watched it. I dont know why, but when i press that double arrow button, nothing happens. I have the blue line marked. But nothing happens! When I move the red line with left mouse button to the location i want and press play, it still plays from that green line.

    1) Create one keyframe at the start of your scene ("Ins" key)
    2) Create another keyframe some seconds later, at the end of the scene.
    3) Select the second keyframe (Use the square bracket keys "[" and "]" on american keyboards. On greek keyboards I would try "+" and "-", not sure though). The red filled squares are the selected keyframes.
    3) Move the camera while the second keyframes are selected (arrow keys and "WASD"-keys).

Have you read my post in the other thread? You need to hold down "Shift" while right-clicking. Then you can rewind with the double-arrow button.

You have to make the second keyframe then move the camera to where you want it to be, or you won't get any camera movement. That had me stumped for a bit.

It's not a wise choice to render TGA's since it wont render grass, bloom and other special effects. If you want to take picture follow the 4th video tutorial (you can find it either in the cine-ed thread or on this Youtube channel)

P.s.: if some moderator reads this, can this be merged with the cine-ed thread? Thanks!
