Why?
Yes
No
Partly (please ellaborate)
Yes i do because evolution, complemented by natural selection is the only method that a scientifically sound mind can be satisfied with. Now satisfaction might not be the best word, but there is no other idea that any human has come up with which explains to me better why and how i am here typing these words with the help of opposoble thumbs, flexible fingers and obviously one of evolution's many wonders. The Homo Sapiens Sapiens' Brain. Oh and did i mention your eyes as well ^_^

Growing Up In The Universe <- Check It Out !!!
I don't believe in the Theory of Evolution.
As that's implies some dogmatic acceptance of it.
I accept it as fact until it is disproved.
Which is 200 years and counting.

Ah, good observant eyes. I put that there as many may argue that you cannot prove the theory. Of course, I am a scientist at heart and completely dissagree with that, and I believe the theory fully until something sensible and factfull can deny it otherwise.
about 110, Cuchullain.
A new mobile phone tower went up in a town in the USA, and the local newspaper asked a number of people what they thought of it. Some said they noticed their cellphone reception was better. Some said they noticed the tower was affecting their health.
A local administrator was asked to comment. He nodded sagely, and said simply: "Wow. And think about how much more pronounced these effects will be once the tower is actually operational."
Lets say 150.

I am a lesser man, i am not a man for about three or four years. But i really don't think i insulted you by spelling your name wrong by one letter.

I do not believe in evolution in the sense of a dogmatic doctrine and if it was a dogmatic doctrine I would not believe in. But it isn't. You can easily understand the difference between a dogmatic doctrine and science when you take classes in biology and organic chimistery over several terms.

Yes I believe in evolution. But if anything better comes along that does not involve religion or any deity and aslong as it is scientifically proven then i will cease to believe in evolution.
But so far it appears asthough evolution is far more credible then anything else out there.

As has been said many times, we don't BELIEVE in it. It just happens to be the most plausible explanation for the diversity of life on Earth.
Although it is also one of the most beautiful, I'll give you that.

As others have said, I don't believe in evolution because it's not a belief system.
Well, I believe that it is the most accurate scientific model to describe the development of life. Since most professional scientists agree about that, I'm quite comfortable with it. From what I've read, it seems perfectly reasonable.
Like some people here have said however, 'evolution' can mean different things to different people. I understand it simply as the process by which live developed. Some other people think that it supports an atheist worldview, which I obviously do not accept.

I believe that the theory of evolution is the most plausible and correct explanations at this time. Until something better comes along, or evolution is disproved then I'm going to stick with that. However as a question, do other people find that evolution makes more sense than religious doctrine does when trying to explain how we came to be. For me scipture just leaves too many loose ends.
I dont see a reason why not to believe it. It hasn't really been disproved and it has evidence leaning towards it. Most credible and professional scientists would agree with it's theory and it seems perfectly reasonable too me.

A theory in science can be falsified. The ablility to falsify is essential to call a theory scientific. If I believe in a theory, my belief needs to include also the qualtity of being potentially a false scientific belief.
If I believe in a dogmatic sense, then this part of potentially false lacks, because the belief in a dogmatic object assumes in advance that certain statements about this object are without doubt true. The dogmatic belief affirms a basic assumption. In contrast to this stands the belief in the sense of science as it needs to question permanentely the assumptions which are laid down as its grounds.
I say this to illustrate why it may make sense to say, "I do not believe in evolution but in the reverseability of the theory of evolution or of statements being a part of this theory", and to indicate that the theory of evolution is a set of scientific assumptions contrary to a set of dogmatic per se true utterances.
Sounds logic, uhh?
