This is my second aar, my first ones kind of flopped but i learned a lot from that and have decided to begin anew to employ my findings

Rules-all men of the first generation are chivalric, all of the second dreaded, and so forth

King alfonso rode out into the countryside for a freindly game of hunting with some of his closest freinds, this hunting game turned into the most historic of adventures and conquests, tales were written about the portugese exploits that rival homers odessy.

also, it was really hard not to over do the reference, such as averting their eyes, it took all i had not to include that

ill get a new update by tommorow, once i kick out the moors ill take advice on were to go, but ive kindve jumped that part right now

A piece of advice I can give is to use capitalistic and proper grammar such as 'I'll' rather than 'ill'. It improves readability as well. Also, when you start posting battle screenies, spoilerify them. And thanks for the +rep back

: the enemy fights valiently, but they are out matched in both size and arms, still, they managed to fell some of my knights and i give them praise for that, the enemy crossbowmen have appeared to rout, and they're javelin men are nonexistant do to our crossbows, archers behind me are firing volleys of pitch arrows into the backs of said crossbowmen and the spearmen i am protecting is slaying the only melee unit in their army

My suggestions:
- use one spoiler / update, there's no need for several spoilers
- we'd like to see a campaign map thingy to see your position of Portugal and the neighboring factions
- leave imageshack ASAP, as it is unreliable, upload your images to www.photobucket.com instead

I second the Photobucket thing, and spoilers for the whole battle scene would be good, opposed to single spoilers individually (although I did do that in my own AAR)

ill use the single spoiler, i was simply following the advice of stormbringer, although in hindsight i should have put them in one, but thats what your comments are for, to help me improve for the future

also, ill put in the minimap after every one of my updates now, so you can compare my progress with previous updates and when i talk of campaign map occurences ill try to remember to get a screenshot of it

im not going to answer your question, and i put the battle in because it is important with the seige of corduba as ive ruined its garrison now
