    Icon5 Saved Games

For some reason, more than likely my own noobishness when it comes to files, I can't find the file that has all of my saved games in it.

Also, is there any way I can check if a game's difficulty? I have an older Holy Roman Empire campaigne that I want to play, but I am not sure if it is VH/VH or not. I think it is, but I just want to make sure.

Saved games are saved by default in the Stainless_Steel_6 folder in a sub-folder called "saves".
    That's on WinXP.

You'll have to wait for someone with Vista to explain where it puts them.

You may be able to find the difficulty level by examining the save file in Notepad. (Simply Edit / Find "Difficulty" - there's only a few and I found a couple that said either Difficulty_Level_medium or Difficulty level = M, which is what I play on, but whether they are the actual values used in the game or just for specific items I wouldn't like to say.

(There must be easier ways of finding this?)

If you have vista, you need to stand in the Medieval II folder... Then there is a button almost at the top, called something like comportable files or something like that, ( I dont have it in english, thats ´why I dont know what it is called)
Anyhow, press that little button, it is in the far right end of the bar, where the buttons are...
Then go into mods, SS, and saves...

    Hope it helps
