Uninstall

Hi all,

My problem is that I cannot uninstall the game... I had updated it to 1.01, and then I tried to make it to 1.02, but it says that there is a file missing or damaged. So I wanted to uninstall and install again the game. I Click on Uninstall Button. At the start of the uninstall the following messenge appears:

The setup has detected that version 1.01.000 of Medieval II: Total War is already Installed. This setup installs an earlier version of Medieval II: Total War (1.00.000). You will have to uninstall the previous version before installing this version.

So I didnt know what to do so I deleted every single folder and file of the game. But I didnt uninstall the game from the launcher... So I tried to install again the game but i get again the same messenge as before...

What should I do?

Like doing things the hard way?

Since you deleted the files, I assume you deleted the whole Sega folder. Then get a registry cleaner and run it. Then you should be ready to go.

Yes, clean the registry, if an auto cleaner doesn't work go to start>run>then type "regedit", search for all entries that are associated with M2TW, kingdoms etc, the patch files should also be deleted.

So I got into the registry and I went to the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE => Software, found the SEGA folder and Deleted it...
Try again to Unistall/Install the Game but same messenge appears... Maybe are there more Files for M2TW?

EDIT: I fixed the problem... I didnt cleaned the InstallShield Installation Information folder.
Not its installing...
