CTD——Need your help!

Well, I am enjoying this mod. But the last time I played as the Holy Roman Empire I met a ctd problem. I have just conquered Roma, and my general has fallen. So I opened the Family Situation to see the family tree in scroll right after the battle. Then I have got a CTD. What's the problem?

Family tree? I've never tested that. I will try to see after backing from vacation on Tuesday. It should not be a tough issue to solve

Yeah I got a CTD everytime I hit "The Pope" tab...is this possible to fix?

Well, I just wanted to see the family tree of my faction, but while I was going to click on that button, I saw there was a red cross on it, I just cannot hold to click...
That's my situation.
Please enjoy your vacation first. It's nothing serious but just a bug, waiting for RM3.

Hmm I wa about to do my very first battle but I have a continuous CTD.
I'm playing with Kingdom of Sicily and the CTD year is 1252 (winter time)...I tried to attack the Holy Roman Empire and some Rebels army but I got this CTD even before the loading of the battle.
The game btw looks terrific! I'm very impressed...but I want to play the battles!

it is a known problem for RM2. It will be fixed in RM3

Did you patch RM to 7.5 and spriti addon?

yes,install the spriti addon first,then install the latest HotFix,and you will not be impressed anymore.

Reinstall the latest HotFix again,then start a new campaign.

are the sprites really that important? my game was fine before i added it

with hotfix6 i got crashes but i was able to work around them

I came back last week and started a new campaign with England. So far (30 turns) so good. I can view family tree without problem. My campaign will continue. Let's see what will happen

you can't run RM2 with HotFix #7 or higher without the spriti addon.

Problem sorted! I love this better then CTW.
basically i reinstalled the hot fix (rewrithing all he fies) and the game is perfectly stable.
