Is the AI in Kingdoms better than the vanilla one?

Wondering cause I heard that the AI is kinda dull in vanilla and supposedly the patch in Kingdoms would fix this even a bit?

Never played normal kingdoms, but there's a slight difference in the Stainless Steel mod for kingdoms I think, haven't noticed alot, the pope is much more strict but that might be kingdoms too as I've never played the normal one, the diplomacy is still very predictable tho.

In my opinion, from playing both, the AI in vanilla kingdoms vs the AI in vanilla M2TW is far sharper. They're more coordinated, seem a bit better at making large stacks and global strategy seems to be more cohesive.

Vanilla and the kingdoms AI's are good, but you should try SS and Lusted's AI.
If you are looking for the ultimate AI its the Lusted's BAI and CAI thats the best.
