Effects of blockading?
Do you get money for blockading a port and does the victim lose money and how much money are we talking here?

Basically the same thing as maintaining a siege, trades can't go in our out, units can't be recruited (I think) you earn nothing tho.

You can recruit units including ships so that someone is blockading you, you can create a fleet to defeat them

Re: Effects of blockading?
I dont know if you get money but you block the trade of the other country causing them to lose money. It depends on how advanced the port is. If it is like the port at Constantinople then alot maybe lost.

You only block the trade fleet. so depending on the port upgrade how many fleets are capable of sailing there. recruiting and all stays the same.

You get the money from the victim. I guess it's the same amount the port would make for hiw owner (depends on what it is trading).

Re: Effects of blockading?
no panurge, Frigz got it right. You only block the trade fleet, and they can still make a war fleet. Although, since its the AI, they usually don't. And if they ever blockade you, it will either be a normal fleet for a turn or with 3 ships. I'm not sure how long the 3 ships stay, as I usually kill them with the stack of 3 exp. war galleries next to it.
