Default humans the perfect life form

Nobody can deny that humans are the most advanced life form but is that all ?

No its not we humans are perfect we are all gods in our own way we have everything we may not be perfectly adapted to our environment but we adapt environment to our needs what other creature do that on our scale ?

We had conflict on such a large scale that shaped the world and no thats not imperfection thats perfection thru large scale conflict we evolve grow stronger a achieve new technological heights.

We have a body more complex than any other creature or machine everyone of us is truly unique.

For me its a joy to learn about the human body human behavior and psychology i truly look with wonder on what a human can achieve.

And who knows maybe in a few years we may shape the universe as we see fit.

So the question is do you think we are the perfect life form ?

If we're perfect, we would have 100% regenerative capabilities.

We'd understand why girls act the way they do.

    We wouldn't get sick.

Nope we are perfect the way we are if we didn't die we would be stagnant we would not continue to evolve.

As it is today is perfect we can heal most nonlethal diseases but those lethal illnesses we cant and thats good the weak die the strong live on thats the law of nature and of evolution.

That's more of us using our brains than any "perfection," however.

Perfection is a relative term defined by us so it is only fit that we attribute that term to ourselves.

You would not be able to make those decisions if not for this evolved and complex brain and thought system we have.

So my point in all of this compared to the rest of the animals we are perfect.

Well show arguments to support your point.

Have you seen another animal that can do what we do ? Nope

We have a state of being called consciousness in witch we feel we perceive the environment and react to what we see accordingly with feelings thought not just with instinct as other animals do the other animals are not really conscious because they don't perceive the environment as we do they rely on instinct.

Yes, we have a brain to use - but we can use it for good or bad either way. Same goes for the abilites of our body...

In a way, that freedom of choice is perfection. So the question really is: what point of view do you take to define perfection.
From the pride and arrogance of the Romans nothing is sacred. But the vindictive gods are now at hand. On this spot we must either conquer, or die with glory (Boudiccas Speech, Tacitus, Annals, XIV, 35)

Maybe your definition of a perfect world differs from mine.

good bad are terms attributed to certain action we view morally acceptable or unacceptable

So you see we invented all the terms all the definitions to define our actions according to your mine and everyone else's moral compass.

And what i understand from this is that morality is relative and our perceptions on whats good bad and the world differs thats what makes us unique and competitive.

    Skullman:

The alternative to evolution is stagnation and weakness thats why we need to continue to be competitive and learn more about ourselves and our thought process

Wait....if we're perfect, then that means there is no need to evolve.perfect-excellent or complete beyond practical or theoretical improvement

The human race is far from "perfect"; we just happen to be superior to all other known organisms on this planet (for the time being) and god only knows what's waiting for us in space

I disagree with you there. Because of medicine we do not evolve stronger. Those nonlethal diseases that were lethal before, don't kill the weak as they used to. So now even those who should die young, survive. This on the other hand lets us evolve in another direction and become smarter. So today we have greater diversity but as an average we are weaker physically.

We continue to evolve. That's proof enough that's we're not perfect yet.

We're certainly not perfect - besides, life would be boring if we were.

If you are referring to idealist perfection no we are not and cannot be.

But im referring to realist perfection that we are the most advanced life form known at this moment and thats perfection in itself.

I still dont like the word 'perfection' being used just because we are the most advanced lifeform....

No, you're utterly wrong. Firstly, how are we more "advanced"? There are bacteria that can survive happily in high levels of acid of horrifically high tempratures. Fish that can live easily at a depth that crush all but the handful of the strongest human submersibles. "Advanced" is relative.

And secondly we are far from perfect. We're still poorly adapted to bipedalism making us very slow, clumsy and childbirth is incredibly dangerous for us. Our bodies are littered with now obsolete parts that can cause death and discomfort quite frequently - like the apendix or wisdom teeth. Our gene pool is very small for a species.

Answer this what other life form has conscious taught ? none just us.

A bacteria doesn't have the mental capability of a human the bacteria survives at those depth because it adapts to its environment we on the other hand adapt the environment to us thru technological means.

Thats reason enough why we are perfect no creature can do what we do and you cant deny that.

    Dolphins, great apes, etc.

No, we don't. Acid kills us, despite technology. Pressure kills us, despite technology. Extreme tempratures kill us, despite technology. We are also not the only lifeform to influence the environment according to our needs. For examples there are species of ants that rear lifestock and have agriculture. Great apes and crows use tools quite frequently.

I do deny that. We're an accident of evolution, and not perfect.

    1. We are the only sentient species known at this time.

Dolphins do not have a state of consciousness they do not have higher brain functions they react mostly on instinct no other creature has brain functions as we do some creatures resemble ours but thats it.

    2. No it doesn't kill us ever heard of azbest(sp?) a material that protects you from very high temperatures ? thats human ingenuity.

The new tipe of submersibles withstand tremendous amount of pressure thats human ingenuity again.

    3. ants do not not modify the environment to the extent that we do we changed the world and soon we will shape the universe as we see fit no other creature can claim that.
