Icon4 King Arthur is the Antichrist

This is very silly. The fact that King Arthur is here presented to be the Antichrist, of all people, made me laugh hard.

What do other Christians think about this, specifically Christians with knowledge of the book of Revelation in the Bible?

I don't believe that the moral, chivalrous, and honourable King Arthur could be the Antichrist, could he? :hmmm:

Besides, the Bible does not support the doctrine of reincarnation, so that blows this out of the water for the most part.

P.S. Don't get started on the "King Arthur was fake" thing. The candidate that closely matches "King Arthur," of all the sources of knowledge we have on him, is a certain Romano-British High King called Riothamus. Geoffrey Ashe (the father of this theory in particular) theorizes that he ruled from 453 AD to 470 AD. Just thought I'd let you all know that.

He's obviously not the Anti-Christ, because then we wouldn't be here today.

Exactly. I wonder though, do the people behind that article believe in their theory, or is that just a joke?

    Poe's Law

Similar to Murphy's Law, Poe's Law concerns internet debates, particularly regarding religion or politics.

"Without a winking smiley or other blatant display of humor, it is impossible to create a parody of Fundamentalism that SOMEONE won't mistake for the real thing."

In other words, No matter how bizzare, outrageous, or just plain idiotic a parody of a Fundamentalist may seem, there will always be someone who cannot tell that it is a parody, having seen similar REAL ideas from real religious/political Fundamentalists.

If the Messiah can come, fail and die, and this can be explained away as an entirely intentional success that just prefigures his Second run at the job, then the Antichrist can come, fail and die (at the hands of the Saxons in the wars for Britain) and then get it right HIS Second time around too. Fair's fair. Give the guy a break.
