Kill a character cheats

I have a enemy character in a mod that causes a crash and I was told to kill him.
But I have no good assasin and I need to ged rid of him the same turn.
I could either
- use a kill_character cheat
- give my assasin a good trait or ancillary
but none of the cheats are woring. It always tells me "character not found".

How do I make them work? I heared, I can only use the cheats once but I didn't use them before.

Well, try putting quotes around the character's name. Also, if he has a locative byname, like "of Sparta", then put an underscore - like "Leonidas of_Sparta". Hope this helps!

As you can see he is double. That causes a crash when fighting him.
They say it's a bug with the traits in IJ. And I should kill him.
I had a duplicate generel before, and I killed him with an good assasin and it worked.
But now I have no good assasin, and I need him dead this turn.

I had doubles before, and they did not cause a CTD though.:hmmm:
I just killed them both.

Is that IBFD? Is it patched?

It's more the cheats, I am asking about now.
They just don't work, or what?
What do I have to type to kill Mardonius, or give Nero Avilius a better agent skill?

Give to Mardonius trait IanR 3.After gaining that trait he becomes Narcissist and it's very easy to kill him.You should write something like this: give_trait "Mardonius" IanR 3
After doing this your worst assassin could kill him without problem!
