Unlock All factions in campaign mode??

Hey folks, I was wondering if it was possible to unlock all the factions in single player campaign mode (tired of being english or french). Also was wondering if it was possible to edit how many florins you start out with. Would like to get the game going alittle faster with more florins. Any info you folks can provide would be appreciated!

well, to unlock all the factions, got the medieval II main folder
then data=>world=>maps=>campaign=Imperial_campaign then right click the descr_strat.txt file and go to properties. make sure read-only is unchecked. after thats done, open the file
in this file, move all of the factions under "unlockable" to "playable" while not disturbing the syntax of the file, then save.

as for money, you can always use the add_money cheat by pressing ~ (on english keyboards) and then typing "add_money #" without quotes and where # is the amount of florins you want as long as its under 40000 (if you put add_money 9999999999, you will get 40000 florins)

For the first part see Theseus.

If you want to change your starting money simply edit the starting treasury of the faction you want to play in the descr_strat. You can also edit the kings purse so that your basic income per turn is higher or lower.
