OHHHH NNNNOOOOOO !!! Just don't tell me in Empire TW the naval battles are "Imperial Glory" style-you command your ship not with keys from the keyboard but with clicking on the screen and giving direction to where she should go ! It's a very clumsy way to command a ship.

You do realise that controlling a fleet with the keyboard is totally unworkable? You would be unable to control more than one ship at a time.

Great screens, and to Dracula it would be very difficult to control ships with your keyboard.

I posted this particular post in the 'New Website' thread before, but I thought I'd post it here as well. The new website for Empire: Total War includes several new screenshots, but it's only possible to view them in a medium size..

However, after applying a little trick I learned while looking for a larger version of the Dutch boxart for Empire: Total War, I've been able to 'unlock' the larger screenshots..

Enjoy them!

(I think the above city might be a Dutch city, based on the buildings in the distance.. They really look a lot like the buildings you'll find in the centre of Amsterdam. I'm not sure where the soldiers are from, but I'd guess they were from one of the minor German states, coming to pay a 'visit' to the Dutch Republic..

I just noticed to an extent they got the American naval jack wrong.. nothing a little bit of modding won't fix.

It seems very clear that the game will have ragdolls. Just look closely the last seconds of the video. You can see some sailors bouncing on the flaming ship.

disapointed really that theyre showing american ships (that they never had at the time) instead of like, britain pwning france/spain/netherlands over and over
