What happened to the 1.5 preview?

Several weeks ago it was mentioned that a preview of 1.5 was destined to be revealed "in a few days." After almost a month of waiting we faithful have yet to see any new information on our favorite mod. In other posts it has been alluded to that there has been some sort of delay in production of 1.5, however no specific causes have been given.

I would never dare to presume that we as fans and players are due any kind of explanation and, if the developers so choose, they may rightfully reply to this inquiry with a standard "it will be done when it's done" statement. However I would like to offer an oppourtunity in this post for the dev's to give the community a clear head's up and let us know what's going on.

Note that I am not asking for the preview of 1.5 that was mentioned above, but for some fresh information on why the aforementioned preview has been delayed, and what this means for 1.5 as a whole.

The preview has to an extent been parceled out in the "The Units and Factions Preview" topic, with Strelac's introduction of the various new Indian units being added. We are working on more technically related material at the moment which doesn't really work under a preview. We will release one before the 1.5 release, though. Introducing Foreign recruitment in an organized manner is more on the brains than brawn, which is why there's little to show for it right now.
