Absolutely no guarantees on 2.0. We're still chipping away slowly but definitely on 1.5.
After 1.5 the reality is we will probably make smaller and more gameplay focused improvements with faction by faction expansions instead of the originally concept of a "big" 2.0 project.
Is it possible then that we could see the Kara Khitai implicated perhaps in 1.5 ?

I really think that BC team has done tremendous work and that is just great. I think same as Miraj, that other than 1,5 there is not much we should ask, it's great as it is and will probably be a milestone after 1,5.

isnt there any propable release date for bc 1.5? is it still gonna take long?
And how about the extended map and new factions, will they be in 1.5?

Improvements in unit balance (many changes in inf, cav, and missile behavior)
Prolonged battles – offering more strategic battle maneuvering.
Adjusted Unit cost – more realistically applied cost formula based on units armor, weapons and skills.
Removed annoying punch animation from all melee attacks.
New projectile configuration – realistic and dynamic projectile behavior based on accuracy and trajectory adjustments.
New auxiliary recruitment system – adds new unit
Rebalanced economy
Improvements in diplomacy

Broken Crescent ist definatly the best mod i have ever played for medieval2 and one of the best mods ive experienced in my life.
By the way my Ps3 is broken at the moment and it would be a really cool time for me to play 1.5 in the nearer future :p

Ive started campaigns with all factions but after a few hours it always starts getting boring as as the main opposite-faction dies by my hand and the imperial overstretching begins...![]()
this is awesome if only I knew a bit more about eastern warfare. I am a western history buff, so in things like EB I knew th difference. Unfortunately I have found no detailed information about Middle eastern ware fare, I know BC is more accurate by far then vanilla, but I would hardly know the difference. a shame that their are so few books about Middle eastern warfare and army composition.

Could there be done anything about game crushes? Like when the faction is destroyed it starts to become a horde, so it takes sometimes 15 minutes, half an hour and once it took more than 3 hours!!! It's extremely annoying, some of my friends stopped playing because of these.
Maybe we could just eliminate the horde respawning possibility, so the game doesn't freezes? Would make an breakthrough in gameplay.

I have never experienced one crash, but then again, I purposely don't destroy a faction completely because of hordes. I give them a uselessly small settlement and wipe them out ever where else
