The mysterious descr_campaign_db
Hi all. I'm having some trouble with the descr_campaign_db.xml. Some entries in there are can be easily understood, while others not. It's a file that deals with many important campaign mechanics, but I cannot find any basic tutorials about it, only scattered info around different threads.
Now I'm not requesting a tutorial, or I'll be moved(of course, one would be nice
). All I'm asking is, what numbers in campaign_db are safe to change, and what numbers are known to cause errors? I know the popular max_number_of_children has to be at 4, and I think changing some modifiers float could cause ctds(from here). Does that include any float entries?

Re: The mysterious descr_campaign_db
Let me ask more pointedly. How to turn off heretics/witches/inquisitors entirely with campaign_db? Tuning the max uint and max per region to zero didn't work, they still pop up. And the creation_modifier floats seem to cause CTDs. I heard it's possible to turn off heretics and witches along with all rebel armies with some switch in regions, but I don't want to remove rebels, only their agents.
For example this is from my campaign_db, witches still spring up fine. What am I missing?
<max_witches_per_region uint="0"/>
<max_witches uint="0"/>
<witch_creation_modifier float="1.0"/>
